Since moving to this community nearly a dozen years ago, there have been many times that I have been awed by our community’s spirit. When there’s a project that will improve our quality of life, the community comes together and gets it done. When someone is in need, this community shows their support. When there is a community event, this community turns out and makes it a success. I feel the community spirit in so many different ways, and in such a variety of people.
The programs and projects supported by the United Way of Becker County embody that community spirit through your support. From filling backpacks for hungry children, to supporting those working to improve their lives through education, to helping seniors stay connected. And it all happens because of the giving spirit in our community.
Sometimes the world seems like something out of our control. But in our community, you can see the effect of your actions, right here, making an impact on those around you. 100% of your contribution to your local United Way is kept in our community and 92% goes directly to programs serving people in need. Help keep our community spirit alive and well by supporting the United Way of Becker County—we are building a stronger community together!

Contributions by community businesses and employees to our annual employee payroll campaign is what helps United Way of Becker County support the agencies and organizations listed on this page. Each fall, volunteers visit the local business community to share campaign information and get people excited about Living United.
If you are a business that would like to have an impact on the lives of many living in our communities, please contact us and we will be happy to meet with you.
If you are a business that already participates in our annual employee payroll campaign and you are looking for resources to make this year's campaign a big hit with your employees, check out these fun flyers!
